The "Bargain Betty" in me, salivated at a chance to get a new pair of summer sandals, half off (and of course support the cause). I got chance to check out the preview sale and snagged a cute, sexy pair of Jessica Simpson violet colored sandals. I''d never purchased a pair of Jessica Simpson footwear before and was pleasantly surprised at the comfort level, as I strutted around the showroom with ease. The straps were thick and snug around my ankles and my toes did not cry out in pain from being pinched together. Knock, knock, did I mention they were half off the suggested retail price? So, for the grand total of $45.00 my feet are going to look like I spent a tad more (nothing like the art of illusion) and be comfortable (I really dislike giving up comfort for the sake of looking cute, I just can't do it). The sales clerks/volunteers were super friendly, helpful and of course fashion students. Shout out to the wonderfully refreshing Mara Bertrand, a merchandising major who went the extra mile to help me finalize which brand of shoe to buy
Major designers were on display including Vince Camuto, Stuart Weitzman, Sam Edelman, Via Spiga, DVF, Dr. Scholls and Ralph Lauren. There was even a small section for children's sandals from Valencia Imports.
